What is the caching mechanism used in Pega 7

  • Pega 7 makes use of vTable as caching mechanism.
  • Earlier for PRPC 6.x versions in RulesAssembly (RA) cache , Application Based Assembly  (ABA) cache background JAVA uses hashmap to keep instances.
  • vTable cache mechanism uses Synchronized Hashmaps to store the record's key value pairs.
